College Application

Directions for Requesting Transcripts Through Naviance Student

***You must pay the transcript fee on FeePay before transcripts will be sent to your college.

If you are requesting a transcript for a Common Application school, you MUST see your counselor first!!

Directions for requesting a non-Common Application school transcript are as follows:

  • Log in to your Naviance Student account
  • Click on "Colleges I am Applying To".
  • Click on the pink plus sign on the right hand side of the screen to add a college.
  • Search for the college in the first field titled "Which college are you applying to".
  • Choose the "App Type" (this is an important step).
  • Indicate how you are submitting your application under "I'll submit my application"
  • Click the box indicating whether you have already submitted your application.
  • Make sure everything is correct and click the "ADD AND REQUEST TRANSCRIPT" button.
  • Indicate what type of transcript you are requesting. If it is your first transcript for that school, please choose Initial.
  • Click "Request and Finish".
  • Continue to add all of your colleges by following these same directions.

ONLY REQUEST A TRANSCRIPT ONCE FOR EACH COLLEGE. If you have questions about whether or not it was sent, please see Mrs. Kadrlik in the Counseling Office.

Letter of Recommendation (LOR) Request Form

Seniors applying for college may need a letter of recommendation to be included in the application packet. You may want to ask a teacher, employer or coach to write such a document for you but they may need to know more about you.

The form link above can be filled in online, printed and distributed to those you are asking to write a letter of recommendation. This method is preferred because the information is more readable. You also may print the template and enter the data by hand in INK.

East Ridge counselors advise students to give the recommending adults three weeks to write the letter, if possible. Be sure you fill in the deadline date.
