Academic Search Premier: Contains indexing for nearly 8,500 publications, with full text coverage in more than 4,600 of those titles. Subject areas covered are biology, chemistry, education, engineering, humanities, physics, psychology, religion and theology, sociology, and more.

 

Expanded Academic ASAP: More the 4,200 indexed and more then 2,500 full-text titles in a wide variety of disciplines including: social science journals, humanities journals, science and technology journals, national news periodicals, general interest magazines, news wires, The New York Times, and many others.

 

General Science Collection: A collection of over 600 peer-reviewed journals, providing researchers with the information needed to stay current on the latest scientific developments. Key subjects covered by the database include biological sciences, computing, engineering, and technology.

MegaFILE: Search the combined contents of Academic Search Premier, Business Source Premier, MasterFILE Premier, and Regional Business News.

 

MnLINK: Search multiple library catalogs at the same time. Provides access to Minnesota public, college and government library catalogs. Provides indexes and full text of magazines, newspapers and more. Use MnLink to request items not owned by Washington County Library.

 

Points of View Reference Center: Provides students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. 250 topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument), counterpoint (opposing argument), and Critical Thinking Guide.

 

ProQuest Newspapers: Database with citations and abstracts from over 350 newspapers, over 250 of which provide full text. Coverage, updated daily, of local, state, regional, national and international newspapers is available, including full text access to 27 major newspapers: The Star Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, Barron's, and USA Today, to name a few.

 

Regional Business News: Supplemental database for customers of Business Source Premier. Provides comprehensive full text for more than 60 regional business publications.

 

Science Reference Center: Contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, and other sources.
